NOTICE FOR HOLIDAY WORK REQUIREMENT
MEMORIAL DAY (05/25/20)
In accordance with Article 22 the company will request no later than seven (7) days prior to each holiday, volunteers to have the holiday off. For those wishing to request the holiday off there will be a signup sheet in the Employee Service Center. Notification of volunteers awarded the holiday off will, except in case of emergency, be made no later than three (3) calendar days prior to the holiday via company email.
Employees awarded the holiday off, under this provision, will receive holiday off (HO) Pay equal to their regularly scheduled hours at their regular straight time rate.
Employees will also have the option to deposit such hours into their compensatory bank and should also make the company aware through the signup sheet located in the Employee Service Center.
You will have until May 21, 2020 at 1800 to submit your request.

MEMORIAL DAY (05/25/2020)
As clarification to the “Notice for Holiday Work Requirement” posting on 05/18/2020, the company will continue to exercise the Covid day off on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2020.
If Monday, May 25, 2020 is your Covid day off, please do not to report to work. As outlined in Article 22 (D) of the TWU/IAM Fleet Service agreement, “Employees who are scheduled to work but not required to work” as stated above, will be coded “HO” and be compensated for the day equal to the number of regularly scheduled hours at regular straight time rate.
Employees will also have the option to deposit such hours into their compensatory bank, and should also make the company aware through the signup sheet located in the Employee Service Center.
